The Associated Kyoto Program immerses students in Japanese life through cultural studies and home stays. Students can choose among the elective courses in the humanities and arts, along with Japanese Language study options, that truly help the student to understand the formation and history of their surroundings while studying abroad, and to become involved in the culture. AKP also offers a variety of fun cultural activities such as traditional instrument clubs and excursions to familiarize students with different interesting aspects of Japan in beautiful Kyoto.
