Trip Intensive Artistic Program on Beautiful Paros Island
Located in the Cycladic Island, famous for their creative, welcoming and independent lifestyle, Hellenic International Studies in the Arts was developed on the concept of an experiential immersion into the cultural, historic and artistic legacy of Greece. The HISA program is distinguished by independent student living spaces, traditional Greek workshop and studio spaces and individualized help and collaboration with teachers. All HISA teachers have advanced degrees, extensive university teaching experience and are working artists, deeply involved in student artistic development.
Academicaly, HISA offers a range of Arts and Humanities courses including Painting, Digital Imaging, Black and White Photography, Creative Writing, Interrelated Media, Literature, Cycladic Culture, and many more. Excursions to neighboring Greek Islands such as Santorini, Naxos and Mykonos as well as course work in the field integrate student academic and artistic development with a personalized exploration of major historical and archaeological sites. HISA strives to provide students with a creative, dynamic atmosphere and a non-restrictive yet goal-oriented atmosphere that gives aspiring artists the time of their lives.
